Question:

I have a 2014 Audi A6 quattro TDI diesel. Does this hitch definitely fit this vehicle? I understand you have to trim some of the bumper to make it fit.

Curt does list trailer hitch # C11423 as a fit for all models of the 2014 Audi A6 Quattro! I have included a link to the installation instructions for you.

If you want to use the hitch for an accessory such as a bike rack or cargo carrier then you have to make sure the accessory is rated for use with a Class I trailer hitch. Also, with a bike rack, you are limited to 2 bikes maximum on a Class I hitch.

Curt also says you have to use stabilization strap # 18050 when using this hitch for any non-trailer load (such as a bike rack or cargo carrier) per their warranty requirements. I have linked the Class I compatible 2-bike racks and cargo carriers for you.
