How do I measure the trailer tongue for a lock?

If you were wanting to use the BOLT Padlock part # BL7018519 as a coupler lock the pin of the coupler would have to be smaller than 5/16 inch for the lock to fit it. Sounds like you have a trigger latch style coupler which would be the style of coupler this would work well with.
