Question:
I am looking for a GOOD tire replacement for our 2004 Jayco Qwest. I have read that tires made in China are bad. Any good American made tires? The gross weight is 1548. We currently have a Towmaster E2, 5.30-12, DOT 9 DCB, 82M Load Range C. This tire didnt even make it one year!

Nearly all tires, whether they are vehicle tires or trailer tires, are made in China. Very few are made domestically. Regardless of where the tires are made they still have to meet DOT specifications. I recommend Taskmaster tire # TTWSF53012C. It meets DOT specifications and exceeds FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards).
This is a 5.30-12 tire, load range C, rated for 1,045 pounds at 80 psi. For trailer tires you should keep them inflated to the max psi. The reason is that trailer tires are built with a thicker sidewall than vehicle tires. That thicker sidewall can generate excessive heat when under inflated and lead to tire failure. I have linked a video review of this tire for you.
