Snow Chains Recommendation for 285/35/18 Tires on a 2007 Mercedes-Benz CLS 550

I looked at the online manual for the 2007 Mercedes-Benz CLS 550 and found that tire chains are only to be used on the rear wheels. The online manual does not state which class of snow chains are acceptable. The chains that you selected are recommended for your front tires but Mercedes does not recommend tire chains for the front of the CLS 550.

For your 285/35/18 rear tires we have sets of snow chains available. The Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains, item # PW1046. is recommended. These are SAE Class S tire chains, which is the smallest SAE Class rating for snow chains.
