Question:
I need a 2inch hitch for a 2017 Outback for use a Kuat NV bike rack. It looks like the draw-tite is best option, but can you confirm if there is enough clearance?

Helpful Expert Reply:
When we installed Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 75673 on a 2017 Subaru Outback, see video link, the distance from the hitch pin hole back to clear the rear bumper was 5 inches. The Kuat NV, either the original or the new one, # NV22G, measures 7 inches from the pin hole to the nearest part of the rack when folded up (10-1/2 when folded down) so it will fit and clear the bumper!
