Curt has listed an installation time of the wiring harness # C56074 as 30 minutes for the professional installer. I spoke to my installer and he said for a novice you should expect 1 hour and a half at the very least.

I do want to let you know that the Curt Hitch # 13554 will require you to use a stabilization strap # 18050 with any non-trailer loads (bike racks, cargo carriers, etc.) which is why I instead recommend the Draw-Tite Hitch # 75778 over the Curt hitch.
