What are the Yellow Knobs and Gray Handles Made Of on the Saris Freedom Bike Rack

Question:
The reviews of this Saris Freedom 4-bike rack suggest that it is very sturdy. My concern is with the knobs and levers - yellow and gray in the pictures. Are they metal or plastic?

The yellow knobs and gray handles on the Saris Freedom bike rack # SA4414B are automotive grade plastic which is impact resistant. I have yet to have anyone complain about one of them breaking.
