Question:

I have a small 5x8 enclosed all steel cargo trailer. It has a tool box on the tongue. Can you recommend a couple of items. First a spare tire carrier for a 205/75R/15 tire. Second would be cargo tie downs. For some reason this trailer did not come with any. Thank you. It does have a 1/4 inch sheet of plywood over the steel floor. Thank you.

The various spare tire carriers for trailers that we offer are shown on the linked page. Their fit with your spare is based on the wheel bolt pattern not the actual tire size. We also have different types of carriers including hitch-mount, bumper-mount, frame-mount and carriers with height lift which will increase ground clearance.

For example, if you have a 3 x 4-inch trailer frame and your wheels are 4- or 5-lug types you could use the Fulton # FSTC1000301.

If you have a 4-inch square bumper you could instead use the Stromberg Carlson # TR-1 if you have 5, 6, or 8-lug wheels.
