Question:

Hello, I have had luck with this product but unfortunately a dealer cut out my power wire when doing other maintenance,,,,,,,,I will not be dealing with them again..........what guage is the lead? And, what size fuse do I need? Thanks in advance

The power wire for trailer wiring harness # 118474 for your 2009 Dodge Journey is 12 gauge wire such as # 12-1-1 sold by the foot. The harness uses a 10 amp fuse. If you also need the fuse holder we have # SWC9539 which takes ATC-ATO fuses.
