Is there a lock for the rack on attaching to the car.....?

Yes, there is a hitch lock that you can get for use with the Sportrack SR2405 that you referenced. You would want the part # A32022. This comes with a hitch lock and a cable lock to use to secure the bikes to the rack as well.
