I have a 2016 Chevy Malibu and I have had a Cequent 1 1/4inch hitch installed, in anticipation of purchasing a quality bike rack. I likely will only ever be carrying one or two bikes. Recommendations? Thank you very much.

For your 2016 Chevy Malibu that has the Draw Tite Hitch part # 36652 installed I would recommend the Saris Freedom SuperClamp EX2 part # SA4025F. This lightweight, USA-made bike rack is great because it only touches the bikes at the tire and provides a very stable way to transport your bike.
While most platform bike racks are pretty heavy this one only weighs 35 lbs. In my opinion this is the best all-around bike rack.
