Can Hopkins Rear View Camera System HM60195VA Be Controlled With On/Off Switch

Question:
Id like to mount this as a front facing camera for my Tundra. Does it have an on/off button? Id to have it off until I need it for tight parking spaces. BTW I mounted the Hopkins 50002 as my backup camera. Its been great.

The Hopkins # HM60195VA does not have an on/off switch. It's meant to tap into the reverse lamp circuit, so it automatically powers up when the transmission is placed in reverse. Instead of attaching the red wire to the reverse lamp circuit, you can attach it to a 12-volt power source, and install a switch like # PK34308 inline. This would give you the ability to turn off the camera system when it's not needed.
