Question:
You recommend both Curt 55571 and T-One 118653 for 2009 Murano. Both are plug-in. Do both work with LED system? Am I correct to understand some of your responses seem to indicate that the T-One is still updating their harness to accommodate LED? Is one better than the other?

Expert Reply:
Both the Curt Trailer Wiring Harness # 55571 and T-One Wiring Harness # 118653 are compatible with LED lights. The T-One is now fully updated to accommodate LEDs. Both Wiring Harnesses do the same task, however, I recommend the T-One Harness over the Curt Trailer Harness.
We have the best luck with the Tow Ready T-One wiring harnesses over the Curt harnesses. The converter boxes on the Tow Ready harnesses tend to last longer and have fewer issues than the Curt wiring harnesses.
I have attached a video of the installation of the T-One Harness on a 2010 Nissan Murano. The installation process is the same for your 2009 Nissan Murano.
