Question:
I have a 2016 Renegade TrailHawk and going to install a trailor hitch very soon. Is there any drilling required for installation on a TrailHawk?

The Draw-TIte Class III 2 inch Hitch # 76021, which I highly recommend, looks like the install only differs whether you have the tow hooks or not. If you have tow hooks on your TrailHawk, you will have a no drill installation and if you don't have the tow hooks you will need to just drill a 1 inch diameter hole access hole. I have attached the installation directions for this hitch to the page for your convenience.
The Draw-Tite hitch will not be required to use a support strap like you will with the Curt hitch on all non-trailer loads like bike racks and cargo carriers.
If you decide to go with the Curt hitch # C13269, the directions indicate a fairly easy install as well on the Trailhawk models opposed to the non-Trailhawk models, I have linked those directions as well. Keep in mind that with this hitch, to not void the warrenty you will need a support strap like # 18050 on any non-trailer load.
I have linked an installation video of the Draw-Tite hitch being installed on a 2015 Model Renegade Latitude to give you a better idea of how the hitch will install to your TrailHawk.
