2016 Hyundai Sonata will #24940 trailer hitch receiver fit my car

Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 24965 will fit the 2016 Hyundai Sonata including hybrids but excluding plug-in models.
I checked with Hyundai and they only say that towing with this vehicle is not recommended and they do not provide a capacity. They don't say you can't tow though.
If you do want to tow then the trailer hitch does not come with the proper ball mount. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. And for trailer wiring use # C56390 for hybrid models or # C56247 for non-hybrid models.
If you want to use the hitch for an accessory such as a bike rack or cargo carrier then you have to make sure the accessory is rated for use with a Class I trailer hitch. Also, with a bike rack, you are limited to 2 bikes maximum on a Class I hitch.
