2016 Subaru Outback class III trailer hitch that extends less out from the bumper. ie see less of it. Curt or Hidden Hitch which wiring harness for 7 pin round connector that uses internal 4 pin already in car? Is ETCB7 the best to use? Plan on hooking it up to Hopkins insight part # 47297

The Draw Tite hitch part # 75673 is going to tuck under the bumper of your 2016 Subaru Outback Wagon the most. When we installed it on a similar 2016 Subaru Outback Wagon as yours we found that the pin hole of the hitch was recessed 5-1/2 inches behind the bumper and on the Curt hitch # C13206 it was 2-1/2 inches. I attached install videos for both hitches for you to check out as well.
To convert your 4-way to a 7-way will require the part # ETBC7 which comes with everything needed to make the conversion and install the Hopkins Insight.
