Question:

Do you have a specific brackets for a 1997 F250 heavy duty crew cab without helper springs or are they all universal just wondering so I didnt have to drill holes in my frame

There is one fifth wheel hitch and rail kit option for your 1997 Ford F-250 short bed that would be a no-drill solution that would be custom fit for your truck frame. It's actually the nicest setup around too so I know you would be happy with it.

The B and W rail kit part # BWGNRK1100-5W has been confirmed as a fit for your truck. It doesn't require drilling and it doubles as a gooseneck hitch so I would highly recommend it.

Then for a hitch the B and W Companion Slider part # BWRVK3400-5W would be what you would need. This is a slider hitch that will easily install in the rails I previously mentioned by attaching to the gooseneck hole.

If you already have a fifth wheel hitch that fits the standard fifth wheel rails you could use the # RP30035 that you referenced but you would have to drill. Or you could go with the B and W setup and the rail kit adapter part # 16310 that would then convert the B and W to an industry standard fifth wheel rail.
