Can a 2005 Ford F-350 Use a 41 Inch Long Reese Titan Extension

Question:
I want to tow a 2,700 pound vehicle, a 1999 Chevy Tracker, or a 19 foot run about boat behind my 2005 F350 Dually crew cab diesel with a Lance 1050s camper in the bed. The camper has a 37 inch overhang. Will my factory hitch accept and have the capacity to handle a 41 to 48 inch hitch extension? Thanks,

Does your 2005 Ford F-350 have a Class V hitch with a 2-1/2 inch sized opening? If so the 41-48 inch adapter part # RP45018 would fit it and work well. This adapter has the capacity for your 2,700 lb boat pretty easily.
If instead you have a 2 inch hitch you would need to replace it with the part # DT45508 that is a custom fit hitch for your truck and will work well with the Titan extension.
