The Thule Spare Me 2 Bike Carrier, # TH963PRO, will fit on your 2007 Toyota RAV4 as long as you have the original factory size spare tire on the vehicle.

It has a weight capacity of 75 lbs. and the dual arms can fold down when not being used. It also comes with a locking knob that will lock the rack to the vehicle.

If you are going to be carrying womens or childrens bikes that do not have the horizontal bar at the top of the frame, you will want to use the Thule Bike Adapter Bar, # TH982XT. It attaches to the center seat post and to the handlebar post and provides a horizontal bar, so the bike can ride level on the bike rack.

Hi, I also have a 2007 RAV 4 but couldn't get the Thule Spare Me (I think the oldest model) mounting plate on because there's like a flange or a lip that protrudes in the center of the bracket that the spare tire goes on. Do you know if I got the mounting plate that goes with the Pro, would that work? I see the mounting plate for sale here. part # 7533532 - will that do it?

Yes, the Replacement Mounting Plate # 753-3532 will let you attach your existing older Spare Me rack to the RAV4. We've actually had a couple customers do exactly this.
