Question:

I have a Blue Ox BXW 1000 set up. And using the BXW 4004 receiver shank with intention of getting enough to have a level set up. My TV is a Yukon Denali w/22inch wheels. I only need another 1inch to 1 1/2inch to have level. Can I drill an additional hole in the BXW 4004, this will achieve my need, just concerned about safety.

I can't recommend you drill an additional hole in the shank of the part # BXW4004 as that would void the warranty of it.

For a shank that would work with your Blue OX # BXW1000 and would give you the additional drop you need you would want the part # C17125.
