The Round Tube Stainless Steel Trailer Hitch Receiver Step with LED Lights # CR-600LED has a metal, hollow, 2 inch shank.
Your # SHP2040-XL will work with it, but since this is the longer version of the lock it will stick out a bit further like I am sure you have noticed already. Normally we would recommend the part # 63232.
