All hitches made for your 2013 Volkswagen Beetle are light-duty 1-1/4-inch Class I types that will use the same mounting points on the vehicle for installation. All three hitches have a visible cross tube that will sit below your rear bumper cover as shown in the video for Curt hitch # C11260. There is no option for your Beetle for a hitch with a concealed cross tube as you had on your Yaris.
All hitches for your Beetle can be seen on the linked page. All include the required installation hardware. A helpful article on hitch installation is linked for you. I also linked an article with towing basics; be sure to check your vehicle owner's manual for any guidance or cautions before towing any trailer with your Beetle.
Brake controller installation on your Beetle will require our installation kit # ETBC7 along with the brake controller itself, such as the popular Prodigy P2 # 90885. Also, your Beetle will need to have a 4-pole wiring harness like # C56380 in order to wire a controller. Please see the linked article for more on installing the ETBC7.
