Can Panoramic Roof be Opened with Thule Roof Rack Installed on a 2016 Kia Sorento

Hi, I wounder If the Thule kit 4056 will get in collision with mechanics of the su roof on my Sorento 2016 ? Any suggestions ? Tanks inadvance

It is not recommended to open a sun roof or in this case a panoramic roof when a roof rack is installed on your 2016 Kia Sorento. There could be interference between the crossbars and the glass roof.
If the panoramic roof just slides back and does not come up above the roof line then there would not be an issue. But if it does come up above the roof line when opened then the only way to know if there will be interference would be to place the crossbar without having it tightened down and slowly open the roof while someone watches to move the bar if there will be interference.
If you go with the Thule roof rack then in addition to the fit kit # TH186033 you will need the crossbars # TH711200 and feet # TH710601.

Is there any cross bar option that can be installed any allow me to leave the bars on and open my roof without taking the bars off? We store the box in our garage when not using it but would rather not take the bars off every time.
