I spoke with my contact at TracRac about the compatibility of the TracRac SR, that you referenced, on the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado. The TracRac SR has not yet been tested on the new Colorado and Canyon to determine a fit. Since it hasn't been tested, TracRac cannot warranty a SR rack for the Colorado.
For a ladder rack that has been confirmed to fit your 2015 Chevrolet Colorado with 6 foot bed, you will want to use a system like the T-Rac Pro2 Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TH37002XT. This ladder rack system will clamp over the truck bed side rails, and no drilling is required for installation. The Pro2 is made from lightweight, strong, durable, and rustproof aluminum.
