How to Disconnect a 7-Way to Install Fifth Wheel Trailer Wiring

Question:
How do I get the wiring harness apart the is already together underneath the pickup so I can put in the new one for my 5th wheel.

Sounds like you are trying to separate the round connector on the 7-way of your vehicle so that you can install a fifth wheel trailer wiring harness like the # 41157.
There should be a grey locking clip on the 7-way harness like what is in the picture I attached. You will need to use a screwdriver to push that clip back slightly so that it can be slid back and off. Once that is off you will be able to press down on the center clip and pull the harness off.
