Question:
I have a 2015 range rover evoque and really like the look of the after market tow package from curt. I primarily will use the hitch to attach a swinging bike rack or other cargo carriers. Will I also need to use a strap to support a rack? I noticed in the Thule review video you had, there was no strap.

Expert Reply:
The Curt Trailer Hitch # C13128 does require the use of support straps with all non-trailer loads, such as bike racks. If support straps aren't use with this trailer hitch, it will void the product warranty.
You would want to support your bike rack with a support strap like the Curt Trailer Hitch Support Strap # 18050.
