Troubleshooting Brake Controller that Stopped Working with Brake Pedal Application

Question:
controler works when applied manually does not work when foot pedal is applied tail lights work ok controller has worked in the past w.hen foot pedal applied. both applications show 11 on read out .

Sounds like you have an issue on the red wire of the Hopkins Agility brake controller part # HM47295. This wire needs to be attached to a circuit on your vehicle that sees voltage only when the brakes are applied. It sounds like the connection has been lost to the circuit that it was previously attached to. Check the condition of the connection for the red wire. Make sure it is securely connected.
You also can check to make sure the third brake light fuse of your truck is in good working order.
