Will a Weight Distribution System Allow a Vehicle to Tow Heavier than The Max Towing Capacity

Question:
I own a 2005 chevy equinox. The towing capacity is 3500 lbs. I have a trail lite 24 ft camper with a weight of 3700 lbs. Would I be able to pull this trailer with a weight distribution system?

Unless there is a second, higher towing capacity for your 2005 Chevy Equinox when used with a weight distribution system there is no way to tow above the towing capacities of a vehicle.
Check the hitch on your vehicle to see if there is a different weight capacity for use with a weight distribution system.
