Yes, you can use Rightline cargo bag # RL100S20 on your 2008 Honda Fit. The Fit is not a big car but the roof should be large enough for the 44 x 34 inch bag. I recommend using car clips # RL100600 so you won't have to run the straps through the interior of the vehicle. And I also recommend protective pad # RL100650 which will not only protect the roof but also help keep the bag in place while you drive.
Be sure to consult the vehicle owners manual and/or Honda for the roof weight carrying capacity prior to loading.
