Question:

I have 10 F-150 S/Crew,no TBC,but have T/T pkg., w/ 7 pin at hitch.I have P3 contrlr. The Trk.has Ford harness in glove box. Cant find under dash cable that should plug into bin box?The install guide from Ford seems way too weird. Sites seem to go as far as 09 nothing on 10 install. Even if I am to buy the cable22292, and I will if It will make this eaiser, just cannot find the Ford end that is supposed to plug into back of that bin Box.Where is the trk end? Did locate a promising cable plug under the steering wheel, wont take the ford harness. very confused!!Thank you very Much

The brake controller harness and plug you need on your 2010 Ford F-150 to install the Tekonsha P3, # 90195, is hidden pretty well, but I can describe to you how to get to it. First, in the cab of the truck, find and remove the trim panel on the center dash area, to the right of the steering wheel. Behind this panel, there are 2 bolts. Remove the exposed bin and unplug the grey connector from the back of the bin. Plug in the Ford harness or the # 22292 harness into the vehicles brake controller harness. Next, route the harness you plugged in down and out through the bottom of the dash. Then you will just need to mount the brake controller.

I have included a link to the instructions to install the 22292 harness below as well as a video install of a brake controller on a 2009 Ford F-150.
