Does Pro Series 5K Square Drop Leg Trailer Jack Get Welded Directly to the Trailer Frame
Published 06/04/2015 >
Question:
I do not see any type of weld plate in the pics. Do you just weld the square channel of the jack to the frame or is there a plate? Thanks

For Pro Series square drop leg trailer jack # PS1400850383 you will just weld the outer square tube to the trailer. There isn't a mounting plate for the jack. The specific instructions are:
Direct-Mount:
The same welding instructions apply to other weld-on mounts.
1) All welding must be performed by an AWS certified welder.
2) Place the jack at the desired location. Weld 1inch in 2 locations on both sides of the jack using a
3/16 inch fillet weld.
