Installation of a Westin Safari Light Bar for a 2003 Toyota Highlander, driving lights

Question:
I want to install the safari light bar on my 2003 Toyota Highlander and under my car cover my frame is some sort of plastic cover or skid plate will i have to take this of or cut in order to install this product.

Yes, you will need to trim the lower splash shield to allow clearance for the Westin Safari light bar # 30-0005-1135.
