The 2007 Chevrolet Uplander with a Class III hitch has a 4,000 lbs maximum gross trailer weight (6,000 lbs) with weight distribution. You should not experience problems when towing, assuming the tongue weight of your trailer will not exceed 400 lbs and the total weight of the trailer will not exceed 4,000 lbs (or 6,000 lbs with weight distribution). I also did some research on your 2007 Chevrolet Uplander and found that the maximum recommended towing capacity for this vehicle is 3,500 pounds. The weight capacities of the tow vehicle, the trailer hitch, ballmount, ball, and safety chains must not be exceeded by the gross trailer weight (GTW). The towing system will only be as strong as the weakest piece.

If you plan on doing some towing, you can use ball mount # C45230, hitch ball # 19260 (1-7/8 inch diameter), # 63845 (2 inch diameter), or # 63847 (2-5/16 inch diameter). You would also need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector, # 56077.
