Question:
Howdy! I have a 1946 Kit tear trailer and the frame is round. Do you have a bolt on trailer jack available? I have looked at the trailer jacks available and they all seem to be for square frames. Thanks in advance.

Helpful Expert Reply:
You are correct that all bolt-on trailer jacks require a square or rectangular frame member for installation. There is no bolt-on jack made for a round tube trailer frame since this would make securing the jack rather difficult; it would want to rotate around the frame tube whenever it was under load.
You will need to have some steel material welded to your frame to allow jack installation. You can use a pipe-mount type like Swivel-Type # DL22685 which includes the weld-on pipe section.
