We can help you with installation of a brake controller like the reliable and popular Prodigy P3 # 90195 on your 2001 Toyota Sequoia.
You will need to have a working 4-pole trailer wiring harness on your truck in order to start the installation. If you need one you can use # C55246 if your truck has the factory tow package with a square connector (see photo). if not, then you'll use a universal 4-pole harness kit such as # 119178KIT.
All you'll need to add apart from the controller itself is the # ETBC7 brake controller installation kit. This includes everything you'll need to complete brake controller installation. The linked article and video illustrate installation.
