Is There an Install Bolt That is Too Long for Installation of Curt Hitch on a Range Rover Evoque
Published 05/05/2015 >
Question:
There are posts that discuss one of the bolts in this kit is too long for the Range Rover Evoque. While I understand washers can be added to take up the additional length, are there any updates to this p/n with the correctly sized bolt?

There was one customer who left a review for the Curt Hitch part # C13128 and said that on their Range Rover Evoque one of the bolts was too long and they had to use washers. This is the only time we have heard of this issue so I wouldn't say it is the norm for every install. We aren't even really sure what was going on with that install so we can't verify for certain that they were attempting to install the hitch correctly.
When we installed this hitch on a similar 2012 Evoque we did not have to use any extra washers. Check out the video I attached that covers the entire process.
