Tongue too Short on Haulmark Trailer for Reese Weight Distribution System

I just finished installing this kit and it appears that the tongue is too short on a 2016 Haulmark enclosed trailer. I have not been able to get the cam arms to rest in the notches on the spring bars. I had to compromise on position of the cam arm brackets and lift brackets and it appears I dont have enough length on the tongue to run this system. Is there shorter spring bars? Ive tried swapping cam arm brackets from either side to move them for or aft.

When confronted with a short A frame trailer tongue that prevents using the standard snap-up brackets, I typically recommend the bolt-on chain hanger brackets, part # RP58305. There are no shorter bars for your system.
To attach the chains, you will have to hitch up the trailer, and then raise the trailer tongue and the rear of the vehicle using the trailer jack. This will relieve enough force on the weight distribution spring bars so that the chains can be attached by hand.
