We offer several trailer wiring harness options for you 2011 Infiniti QX56. The correct one for you will depend on how the vehicle was equipped from the factory. We can help you with either a 4-pole flat trailer harness or a 7-way RV style which you will need if you will be using a trailer brake controller like the Tekonsha Primus IQ # TK90160 that you referenced.
If you have no trailer connector at all you will need Curt part # C59236 to provide you with a 4-pole, which can be upgraded to a 7-way for use with a brake controller by using part # ETBC7 along with the Primus IQ. I have linked installation videos for both the Curt harness and the ETBC7. Note this harness is not a T-connector but a hardwire kit.
If you already have a factory 7-way on the vehicle and want to use the Primus IQ brake controller then instead you'll use quick-connect brake controller adapter # 3050-P to plug the Primus in to the under-dash port on the QX56. In this case you will need only the controller itself and the adapter.
A link is provided that will show you all custom-fit T-connector harnesses offered; these apply only if the QX56 has a factory round connector like the one shown in the linked photo.
