Im wondering if you have any advice in installing the bag on a 2010 Toyota Prius Hybrid naked roof? Is the 18cu ft model too large for my roof?

For installing the Rightline Gear Roof Cargo Carrier # RL100S20 that you referenced on your 2010 Toyota Prius I do have a couple suggestions.
First, I would recommend the Car Clips for Rightline Rooftop Cargo Bags # RL100600. These attach to the straps of the bag and then attach to the roof of the vehicle, this doesn't require you to run straps inside your vehicle.
I also recommend a protective pad, # RL100650, to protect the roof when using the bag.
The dimensions of this bag are 38" long x 34" wide x 16" tall. You will need to compare that to the dimensions of your roof to determine if this bag would fit.
