I purchased one of your hitches and am wanting to pull a 5x8 enclosed trailer with a fully dressed motorcycle, 900lbs. What is the capacity for a 2015 Passat TDI SEL Premium? Thank you for any information.

The recommended hitch for your 2015 Volkswagen Passat TDI like the # 24880 is a Class I hitch that have a 2,000 lb total trailer capacity with a 200 lb tongue weight capacity. To determine the towing capacities for your vehicle you will want to check the owners manual. The lowest rated component in a towing setup is the overall capacity so if the hitch has a lower capacity that what is listed in your owners manual you would need to go with it as the capacity and vice versa.
