Roof Rack Crossbar Compatibility with Thule EasySnap Mounting Kit for Thule Cargo Boxes # TH05820

Question:

Sirs, I want to retro fit the Thule Easy Snap Mounting hardware to my Evolution 1600 cargo box. I use the box on a truck with Yakima bars, and a 2010 Subaru Outback with the Subaru built in rack. Is the Easy Snap compatible with both?

The Thule EasySnap Mounting Kit # TH05820 will work on your Evolution Series cargo box and it will fit a range of roof crossbars.

If your truck's Yakima roof rack uses either standard round or square rack crossbars then the EasySnap hardware will work fine. You can check the fit on your Subaru factory crossbars by taking a quick measurement of their width. As long as the bars are not wider than 3-1/4-inches then they will work with the EasySnap kit.
