Question:
Im interested in getting a trailer hitch and bike rack for my 2014 Subaru Outback. The strap rack just doesnt cut it and dented my hatchback pretty good. 1 Is there a low profile hitch you recommend? 2 Can this hitch handle a 4 bike rack? Id prefer a 2 bike rack to keep it light and simple but I guess I should consider the wife and kids too...?!?! Thanks,

First let's start with a hitch. For a Class III hitch with a 2 inch opening that would be able to carry a 4 bike rack you would want the Draw-Tite part # 75673. The hitch will be largely out of plain sight. Check out the install video I attached for more info.
For a lightweight 4 bike rack I would go with the Yakima part # Y02458. This rack only weighs 33 lbs so it would be perfect for you. Check out the review video I attached for more info.
If you plan on carrying any womens or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Swagman Easy-Out Women's and Alternative Frame Bike Adapter # 64005 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
