Question:
Hello, I just purchased a 2015 Forrest River Evo 2460. I need to purchase a leveling hitch assay. The rp66542 system looks to be what I need but my question is about the brackets for the chains. How wide are the brackets that mount to the frame rails?Do you know if this system will work on my trailer? Thank you for your help

The best way to pick out a weight distribution system is to base it off of the loaded tongue weight of the setup when it is loaded and ready to tow. This figure also includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. I attached an FAQ on determining tongue weight for you to check out as well.
If your tongue weight falls in the range of the # RP66542 which has a range of 600-1,200 lbs this system would work great for you.
The lift brackets of this kit can fit on trailers with frames that are up to 2-1/2 inches in width. If your frame is wider than that there is a solution that would work. You would want the lift brackets part # RP58305 that will bolt to the side of the trailer's frame.
