Question:
I want a roof rack on my 2015 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab to carry a canoe this summer. Which rack would you recommend? I'd prefer something fairly aerodynamic, I don't want all the wind noise, but the price of the Thule and Whispbar options scare the bejeeburs out of me.

Don't let your bejeeburs be scared off, we have a solution for you.
Rhino Rack offers their Vortex Aero roof rack system that's aerodynamic, yet reasonably priced. You can assemble a rack using the following parts:
54 inch Aero Vortex Crossbars # RRMA137B-2
Leg kit, part # RRRLKVA
Clamp kit, part # DK174
For a canoe carrier, I really like the Malone foam block carrier, part # MPG156. The blocks will sit right on top of the crossbars, and the top of the blocks have grooves in them for the gunwales of the canoe. Bow/stern tie-downs are also included.
