Sounds like you may have some blown fuses under the hood of your 2013 Ford F-150. Check the fuse box for trailer wiring fuse locations and replace as necessary as it sounds like the turn signal circuit fuses have blown.

This circuit most likely blew from a short circuit on your trailer wiring. Before you reconnect your trailer wiring I would check the wiring for the turn signals and fix any cut or exposed wire on the circuit that could be causing the short.
