How to Remove Side Pin Windshield Wipers

Question:
I have the side pin and I cant get it off!! I unlocked the j hook part but that little pin head wont come off! What is going on?

Expert Reply:
For the removal of side pin style windshield wipers you will need to push the tab up from underneath the blade or lift the tab from the top with a screwdriver. Once the tab unlocks the pin, pull the blade assembly sideways, away from the arm. To reinstall the new blade you will reverse the process.
You may need to wiggle the old blade a little bit while trying to get it to slide of the arm if it is being stubborn.
