Question:
I want to install a FRONT mount trailer hitch. I have 2006 Silverado LT 1500 Ex Cab, 4X4. I am looking for the type of hitch I seen on one of your vidios HIDDEN Hitch which looked like it was behind the front license plate. You could not see the hitch. I could not get a part number so am not sure which one I need. Thank you for your help.

All of the front mount hitches we have for the 2006 Chevy Silverado, see link, will have just the receiver visible below the front fascia. None of them have the receiver behind the front license plate area. This is because the hitches attach to the frame so in order to mount a hitch so that the receiver exits behind the license plate the hitch would have to be mounted on top of the frame rails. There isn't room for a hitch in that location so instead manufacturers made the hitches to attach to the bottom of the frame and exit below the front fascia.
You have a couple of options depending on if your truck is a 1500 light duty or 1500 heavy duty. For a 1500 heavy duty model you can use Draw-Tite hitch # 65028 or Curt hitch # 31108.
For a 1500 light duty you can use the Curt hitch # 31302. I have linked the instructions for each of these hitches for you.
