Give your RV theater-style couch new life with this left-arm recliner. It replaces a worn section, offers a smooth manual recline and firm support, and adds a comfortable armrest so you can stretch out and relax after a long day on the road.
This left-arm lets your replace a worn or broken section of your Thomas Payne theater seating without changing your whole setup. It connects to your existing right-arm or armless piece with sturdy metal tabs for a secure fit. If your current recliners have a few seasons behind them, the new piece may feel firmer or show a slight color difference where the sections meet. For a consistent look across every seat, check out the full two- or three-piece setup.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a look together at this Thomas Payne Heritage triple reclining RV couch. Now, if you're looking to bring the comforts of your home furniture into the living space of your RV or camper, this triple reclining couch from Thomas Payne might be a great option for you to consider. Now this is a modular couch and this is going to, like I said, it's gonna be just as comfortable as your home furniture, but it's going to be designed for a life on the road, designed specifically for the rigors of RV travel. And this is a modular set.
So in case you don't know, this connects very easily to one another. I'm just gonna disconnect the right arm section here. And we have these tabs here on the metal frame here that's going to allow you to hook these pieces up. So what's nice about this is you're not gonna have to worry about hardware or tools or anything like that. That's how easy this is going to be to fit the pieces together.
So again, this is for the couch and I'm popping up some numbers there for you. That first number is the couch that we're looking at here, but you can also get this as a love seat. It's basically gonna be the left and the right arm sections here without our middle seat. So that will be the love seat option. And then maybe you already have this and you're looking for a replacement left arm side or a right arm side.
We do have those options available as well as the armless as well. Maybe you've already got the love seat and you want to add the middle seat in there. So we've got the armless section, the middle section available separately. And then we also have this available as a love seat with a console instead of the middle seat. So if that's something you're interested in as well, I do have the number there for you at the bottom.
But we're gonna be taking a look here at this triple RV reclining couch. And I want to give you kind of a closer lower angle view here just to kind of walk through some of the features here. So this is gonna be very easy to recline. On each arm section, we have basically what I call a rip cord here in between the armrest and the cushion. On the middle seat here, we've got the rip cord right here. So all you have to do is pull it and then that's going to bring the footrest up and then you're gonna be able to recline back. So, very comfortable. And you probably notice on the footrest we have these plastic sleeves here. That's a shoe guard. And as you can see, I'm in this right now with my shoes on. That shoe guard's gonna keep the upholstery clean and keep it from getting damaged from your shoes. It can be removed, though if you don't want that shoe guard on there. Now this upholstery is what Thomas Payne calls their PolyHyde vinyl material. It's not like cheap, inexpensive vinyl that you might be familiar with, but this is soft to the touch. It's very comfortable and I think it's gonna be very easy to maintain, to easily clean up spills from, it won't soak in like some fabric upholstery. And this is in the driftwood color and I'm looking at my monitor here and you pretty much have a good representation on screen of what this is. This is like a neutral, soft light to medium tan color. It has warm undertones to it, somewhat like weathered or sun bleached wood. And so it's a pretty neutral color that I think will go with a lot of colors that you might already have established in your living space. So this is gonna be perfect for easy maintenance and I think it's gonna look great as well. It has some stitching in here to give it kind of a more premium look as well. Now I wanna give you an overhead view here real quick. And if you see here, my center seat here, I'm going to flip the back down, just like that. And as you can see, we've got two cup holders here, which is great, and we've got a pretty nice surface here. So you can maybe set a laptop up on here, a tablet or something and, or even a food or whatever. You've got a really nice space here that's flexible and you can put it to use when you don't have someone sitting in this middle section. So this is really a great feature that is included with this and then you'll just be able to flip that back up out of your way and you would never know that you've got a hidden console there. This is high-density foam, so this is going to feel very comfortable. What I appreciate about a lot of the Thomas Payne reclining chairs, the couches, the loves seats and so on, is it's comfortable. You do sink in a little bit, but yet you also have quite a bit of support in the seat and in the back. So you're not gonna be struggling to get up. So I really do appreciate that. Let's talk measurements. Measuring from the end of each arm end to end, we're about 75 and a half to about 76 inches wide overall. And then looking at the depth, we're sitting pretty close to 36 inches. And the overall height, about 39 inches. When you have these chairs fully reclined from the top of the headrest to the bottom of the footrest, we're sitting at about 64 inches. Some of our neighbors have asked for measurements for the seat. So looking at the depth of each seat, we're gonna be about from 22 to 22 and a half inches deep. The width of each seat, about 21 to 21 and a half inches wide. And then the height from the top of the cushion to the floor, about 19 and a half inches tall. So minimal assembly is going to be required. You basically just need to slide the back into the base of the chair, give it a firm click and then you just tab these pieces together and you'll be good to go. You really don't need a whole lot of clearance in the back either to recline. I've got this pretty close to the wall and I can still fully recline, so maybe about two inches of clearance or so, and you'll be good. Now, if you have any other questions, whether it's about this set or anything else that we have here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out to us because ultimately, we do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
After a few years on the road, our RV furniture started doing what so many RVers complain about peeling, flaking, and wearing out way too fast. The crazy part is the seats were still comfortable and the mechanics worked great, but the finish just didn’t hold up. We tried thinking about slipcovers and patch kits, but nothing felt like a real fix. I didn’t want to fight a cover or deal with mismatched patches, and reupholstering was way too expensive. We needed something that would actually last.
That’s why I really like the new Thomas Payne Signature Series with PolyHyde upholstery. The material feels tougher right out of the box, and the fact that it comes with a 7-year warranty on the finish gave me a lot more confidence than what we’ve seen in the past. I also like that you can build the exact setup you want recliners, consoles, sleepers, whatever fits your space. After getting it installed, it honestly feels like the upgrade RV furniture has needed for a long time, and so far it seems like something that will hold up way better than what we had before.
