Today we're going to take a look at the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit, with the gloss finish rails, for the Ford F250 and F350 trucks. Now, this is a custom fit part, it is designed to fit the 1999 to 2004 Ford F250 and F350 trucks, for either the six and three quarter foot bed, or the eight foot bed. On a custom fit part, I always like to recommend to go to our website, use our fit guide, put in your year and model of vehicle, and it'll show if this part will work for your application. Now, these custom brackets here is a little mount beneath your truck bed. They do provide the attachment points for your fifth wheel rails. These are custom fit brackets. They are designed to mount to existing holes in your vehicle's frame.
This will help minimize the amount of drilling that's required, and the installation time is cut in half when compared with universal bracket systems. The base rails themselves, right here, these are what will attach to these mounting brackets. The rails is what sits in your truck bed, and they allow the installation of your fifth wheel trailer hitch to your vehicle. These are visible above bed rails, these have a nice gloss finish to them. This part will include everything shown here on the table, it includes the two above bed base rails, the two mounting brackets for each side, all the mounting hardware needed to install it, and a nice set of detailed instructions. This kit will work with fifth wheel hitches, from Curt, Draw Tite, Hidden Hitch, Husky, Reese, and Valley. That should do it for the review on the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit with the gloss finish rails for the Ford F250 and F350 trucks.

Fast install,took a couple hours with helper, but had to use 3 diferent direction sheets that came with the kit and hitch. measurements on sheets don't match. had to drill 8 holes in the bed and enlarge 2 existing holes in the frame.Just needs better instructions.
Used these for my obs ford and they took some slight modification but worked out well

The rail kit a little different than I suspect ...i thought it would be no drilling involved to put it on my 2005 f250 truck but had to drill 2 holes in the frame. One on each side. Also had to buy 4 grade 8 bolts to finish it ....it didn't have enough bolts in the bag. But over all it went together simple not hard at all. Now my wife and I can enjoy camping.
