No sense to have a sanitary fresh water hose if you do not make an effort to keep the ends out of the dirt and clean during handling. Use these keep your hose ends capped. I then put a sandwich bag over the hose ends whenever I temporarily lay the hose on the ground while getting ready to make connections.
Maintaining a ‘99 Coachmen’s Catalina Sport and time has me obtaining replacement parts from etrailer.

Water hose storage caps function as expected. Purchased these to protect my water pressure regulator while not on shore hookup. Vent holes prevent bacteria growth by allowing the pressure regulator to dry. Easily attached using stretch cords.
I use these to keep those darn earwigs dirt and dust out of my hose fittings on the trailer. Perfect fit, and convenient.
These as a must have for RV'er. We have been using these for years and they do keep things from getting into your hoses. etrailer,com has the best price I could find by far. Thanks etrailer.com ;-)
Sanitation is critical for fresh water hose, and these are perfect. Could also be useful for wash out hose I carry to prevent leaks, maybe in a different color?
Nice & convenient. I didn't explain to the wife that they stay on the hose & after she did the water hookup once, the male cap was lost.

Great! Still flexible and seals
excellent product and it does just what I wanted. At a Corps-of-Engineers campground I string out 350 feet of hose to fill our freshwater tank from the bathhouse. These keep the hose ends clean but allow the hoses to air out and dry.
After using these caps on several RV trips I am very satisfied with their operation.
